REVIEW:
Well, let's just say going through the book, "Sams Teach Yourself Microsoft Expression Web 4 in 24 Hours" was quite a journey. Most the book was spot on, some was off enough that if you didn't know how to 'fix' it, you'd be stumped. Some chapters towards the end stumped me for a day or two, and was very discouraging. The site the author has to go along with the book should be updated to reflect these discrepancies. I would have documented them, but it was all I could do to get through it.
The book in general was a good way to get the basics. So in that respect it was definitely useful and helpful. I'll document the problems as I 're~find' them, and post them. I'll even use it as a guide to actually build my own website, but will also use the microsoft site with many useful tutorials, and other sites I've found with helpful information. I'll probably even make a section on my website for this information, as well.

Yay! I'm almost done!
Expression Web 4 is not for the faint of heart...there is sooo much to learn! I am so excited, I'm almost done with my book, but not even close to actually making the site of my dreams. That will take so much time to finally get a web site up and running, but it'll be so worth it. I'm actually on Chapter 20, of 25 chapters...so definitely, this coming week, I'll be done with the book, and on to a web full of ebooks & tutorials! :P

...I'm back...
Yay! My Expression Web 4 software came today! So now there is absolutely no excuse what~so~ever to not keep going...:)
Once the holidays finally ended...drama included...well, certainly life goes on...and we have to get back on the band~wagon before it leaves without us...:)
I'm halfway through my EW4 book, so at the rate of a chapter a day, approximately 4 chapters a week...should increase it to at least 5...I'll hopefully be done within 3 weeks...that's the plan...
I'm finding so many things to blog about...just have to do it...and once I get the website closer to finished...I'll get the .com, and post that here too...
Photoshop...in the meantime...I'll have to finish in~between all this...
My new camera needs some attention...I haven't been ~shooting~ like I should be...so need to devote some time to that...too...
And, of course, Oso is consistantly bugging me to play...so I have to go for now...but I will be back...again...:)

Tomorrow is the anniversary of my son's birth...
34 years ago...in a land far, far away...
I was 17, and happy...
naive, and new to the world,
I had only just begun my journey.
Married the day after my 17th birthday,
because 16 was way, way, to young,
it just made sense, that 17 would always
be much easier to say how old I was
when I first married.
It was amazing...I remember the
first time he was in my arms...
"He's so beautiful!"
I would think all mothers must feel that
first bond of love with their newborns.
Asking my Granny, years ago, if she remembered
her children being born...she said
"No, not really."
So I was determined to remember.
Thank you Granny for that.
It's an amazing thing, to think they
just hand over this brand new life to you.
It's yours, well, for awhile anyway.
You get to '~own~' them for such a short time.
It truly goes too fast.
And if we all could only realize how
truly amazing it is, while it's new,
maybe it'd never get old...maybe we'd
never forget that first burst of love.
If all children could be loved so dearly,
If all children never had to feel fear...
Maybe there would be more amazing people
in the world like my son.
I share this love, and would say to
all parents...love your children unconditionally.
Make sure they know how much they are loved.
If we raise loving children, they will
become loving adults...love begets love...
"And what a Wonderful World this could be..."

Ok...so I get a little distracted...
Yep, just what I thought, I didn't do the 'flash fiction' thing...so I slacked...seems I only know 'not-not real' stuff...in other words...the truth, the real stuff. So I shall focus on that.
I'm learning the in's and out's of the internet...what to do to make it work for you. So as I progress, I'll put important information on another page...this one is just for the daily grind...:)) So look for the "Money" page...that should draw some interest. People seem to need it, probably more than they actually like it. But in a monetary society, we have no choice but to know it, and all about it. So that is what that page will be about.
I've not released this blog to anyone, I know, so if you come across it...it's just by chance...so hello...and goodbye...I know you won't be back...:)) But maybe someday...you'll happen upon this blog again, and
you'll want to follow it...it will be something...someday...:))
